Monroe's Sound Science
Monroe Sound Science is a proprietary sound technology developed by the Monroe Institute, used in their programs, products, and the Expand meditation app (iPhone ; Android ; Mac).
It combines over 50 sound techniques, including binaural beats, frequency, and amplitude modulation, to help listeners quickly achieve states of expanded awareness. Monroe Sound Science has been proven effective through research and experiential use, particularly in brainwave entrainment, where brainwaves naturally synchronise with external stimuli like sound.
